Exporting your Dragon Medical Practice Templates and Vocabulary

To export your Dragon Medical Practice Edition custom words, templates and phrases, go through the following steps.  If you would like the customizations imported into a new Dragon Medical One account, please follow these steps and send an email with your request as mentioned below.

Steps for exporting Dragon Medical commands

1. Open Dragon Medical Practice Edition and open your user.
2. On your Dragon bar, choose Tools > Command Center > Command Browser
3. In this screen, look for a folder called "User-defined". Click this folder.
4. On the right of the folder are all of your command. Left-click the first command and then hold shift and left-click the last command to highlight all of the commands.
5. Right click on any highlit command and choose "Export"
6. On the Export screen, it allows you to name the file and save the file as either a .DAT file or a .XML file. If you have a large list of commands, export as both file types. Simply enter a name for the file and change the "Save as type" to the proper selection.

Steps for exporting Dragon Medical words

1. Open Dragon Medical Practice Edition and open your user.
2. On the Dragon bar,  click Tools > Vocabulary Center > Export Custom Word and Phrase List
3. Name the file and save.

Take these exported files and send to support@dragonmedicalsoftware.com. Please be sure to add the user email address to which you want these files uploaded to.
