Getting started with Dragon Medical One

For Dragon Medical One, there are 2 accounts which are set up.

The Admin and the Subscriber account. If you are a solo practitioner, you are both the Admin and the Subscriber.

The Admin account may also be considered the Organization account.  If you are IT or administrative support staff, you may create an Admin account and later transfer it to another individual once you've had a chance to pre-set the stage. As an Admin user, you can create trials, view pricing, promotions and place orders. We have an "advanced setup guide" for IT professionals and management personnel, available to you once you have registered.

Let's get started.

It's important to note all below is meant for accounts which have multiple users. If you are a solo practitioner, you can skip everything mentioned here since you will be both the Admin and the Subscriber and receive all communications. You may simply skip below to our form to get things started.

More on the types of accounts.

  1. Admin Account
  2. Subscriber Account(s)

The Admin Account is meant for the person in charge of the following.

  • Receiving payment receipts
  • Receiving notifications of account issues
  • Adding, modifying or transferring users
  • May change the payment details
  • May have multiple payment methods for different subscribers or groups.
  • Will receive usage reports and other analytics for management
  • The Admin account is usually an Office Manager, Hiring Manager, IT staff, Owner, or the person themselves.
  • Create an admin account here.

The Subscriber account is the subscription itself. The subscriptions are appropriated for an individual provider.  The Admin may change a subscriber, add more users, change users, etc.. as organizational needs change.  The subscriber however, does have some control of their account.  This includes ;

  • The ability to change their user password for logging into DMO for dictation purposes.
  • Create a Nuance Healthcare ID (this is a personal id per individual).
